PROCESS PAPER
We are doing the topic of Jackie Robinson because we like sports and enjoy learning about different topics within sports. We thought we would do the baseball player Jackie Robinson because he had a big racial impact considering he was the first African-American to play baseball in the MLB. He was also a big influence in other sports and in society. It wasn’t too hard to find both primary and secondary resources because Jackie Robinson was such a famous person and an influential one as well. We used books and websites mainly, and we read a lot of articles on the internet. We chose a website because we wanted everyone to be able to see it, and both learn about Jackie Robinson and possibly be guided with their NHD projects. Also, we chose it because we thought it would be fun to organize things into different places and categories on the website and work with the website to make our best NHD project. The way we created this website It relates to the theme because Jackie Robinson encountered many people that thought he was inferior. He was able to prove them wrong by playing very well and not reacting to them.
